More seriously, the Enchanter is always going to do the heavy lifting, so the good ones will be in demand, but most people are decent 20 years after the fact. Basically as a cleric you need to do two things:
- Always stun the enchanter pet on charm breaks rather than healing the enchanter. If you think about this even a little bit it should be obvious.
- Don't cheap out on symbol. Again, obvious.
CLR/ENC is obviously strong, but I think trios are where it's really at in classic EQ. You can do the harder camps a bit earlier, and you don't have to be too picky about the third class. Practically any melee can do the pulling and tanking (which simplifies charm breaks) or you can double down with multiple pets.
