Correct - people often forget that the Titanium client ≠ classic. The period-correct client for P99 would either be the very first client that came with the original three install discs, or the EverQuest Trilogy client, which is when the new high resolution zone textures were released - when Titanium was released in 2006 they'd made a ton of client-side changes in order to keep up with rapidly evolving software such as DirectX and new GPUs, etc. While this was a good thing because it meant people no longer had to play EverQuest through a potato, the downside was they also introduced a litany of minor bugs and glitches which mostly have to do with the classic character models. These include various animation oddities such as the silly swaying side-to-side running after casting a spell, broken iksar animations, broken epic particle effects, slow wolf form running animation, weird transparency issues with helmets, black feet and black splotches on armor, etc., all of which are *drum roll* ... NOT CLASSIC!
