i think in LoY sony put a game controlled lotto in the Bazzar zone i think. Its been so long but I do remember a system like that they put in to basically eat plat.

Yes that was it - I never played because I was never a plat whore but I always liked the idea. By LoY the plat situation was getting out of hand, bazaar items were all costing at least 10kpp and..yeah, good idea in theory
