Correction. I'm rising with a 33% drag on my net income whilst earning 10 to 12% BELOW the average salary across the entire fucking country, in one of the most expensive places to live in the country.

It's the single most lucrative market in the country and it's mind-boggling how you could be making $45k and afford to live there. Janitors make more than $45k in San Jose and they can't afford to live there.
