Get away from the equator. canada, russia, southern americas, africa are gonna be prime real estate. equatorial regions will be uninhabitable.
then when the poles shift (they aren't expect to make bi-pole shift, but rather relocate to more equatorial regions) antarctica becomes even better real estate, and then the catholic church is there to stake it's claim under its own flag or behind another nation's.
