You haven't heard the legend....
A gnome in Lesser Faydark tells of "the ScaleKeeper," a brave Knight who used only a Rusted weapon to slay the dragons and take their scales, and now only lives in the deepest, darkest of places.

BTW: This is a Rusted weapon, not Rusty weapon... you know how Verant can change a letter and totally throw off the patterns [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

There is a Gnome, in Lfay, near the gnomish houses that mentions Nortlav. I assumed he was a gnomish warrior of some sort...might try giving him the sword. When hailed, the gnome emotes "***** wonders if (your name here) is looking for the scalekeeper" or something similar.
