Those routes are using ports, Planarity, which I understand is against the guidance laid out in the original post.
I have a circular route I like to take when in the mood for a cruise:
East Freeport -> Ocean of Tears -> Butcherblock -> Timorous Deep -> Oasis -> North Ro -> East Freeport. Add in detours via Firiona Vie, East Commonlands and Iceclad Ocean to taste.
