I think teams is just worth trying. Doesn't really matter if it is sub optimal and eventually falls apart. It will be cool. If people are afraid of item loot then an unlimited PVP range to eliminate twink murderers will be a good thing.
I really don't think it will happen until green and teal combine and the manastone stops dropping.. I dunno. If it waits that long most people will be tired of vanilla and it would be a bad time for the pvp server to launch.
I think it will either be really soon, or like 3 years from now once green / teal goes velious.
