You could always write a best-selling novel (or even a decent-selling one would probably be sufficient), featuring a main character whose name just happens to be the same as your character's, and then petition yourself for a name change ...
Heck, if you can figure out how to bribe someone like George R.R. Martin, it's practically a paid name change service
