actually if you havent seen it...
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6971 ... the Xi2 patch uploaded by Vitaliy worked fine for me for compiling an older source (there is a newer patch there too). This will fix your wine gaming mouselook issues! I think this will be made standard in Wine once xi2 has matured a bit.
