No hate here, just a 60 Ranger. Steel Hilted Flint Dagger is a pet weapon. I've had one and I've had the VP cold proc version. They STINK. It's pretty sad. Low proc rate and 4dmg 28 delay is DISMAL. (I've tested with 255 dex and was disappointed.)
If you're going to drop over 4k on a weapon -- Woodsman's Staff is #1 melee dps for a twink ranger.
If you prefer 1h weapons (as I did) then you would be 100% better off with two cheap Lamentations.
More expensive options: Winters Fury is one of the best (affordable) 1h options when not tanking. Frostbringer is BOMB if you're going to tank or solo.
