Thanks for all your replies everyone, so I took the plunge, any guilds looking for recruits i just started my gnome enchanter today

I'd recommend hitting up <Dawn Believers>. They always have lower players out and about in the leveling zones, so it might be easier finding guild groups compared to other guilds. You can find pick-up groups quite easily though too if you go to the popular zones.
