well we started broadcasting media in the 20s or so. Our signals have been sent roughly 100 light years into space since then, if anyone out there has caught those radio signals, they will think our society is orson welles stories, 3 stooges, I love lucy etc.
Our atomic blasts have sent much stronger radio signals into space as well. Funny how we invent the bomb in 1945, and we get reports of an alien crash in roswell in 1947.
If a civilization within that 100 light year radius has a big radio array like SETI or a legit science station... Thats what they will see of us.
