Several recipe books exist which discuss recipes that don't. An example is the "Ice Cream is Good" series, which is about making Ice Cream, yet a key ingredient (cream) cannot be made, because another key ingredient to that ingredient (Dairy Spoon) also cannot be made.

Also as implied by the title, several ingredients exist for which there are no recipes (such as Generic Coffee Beans).
