Same. The Kunark box made me take another look at this "online game" called EverQuest that I had seen the year before. I had money in my pocket and said F it. Aaaand the rest is history.
Got my Father addicted to have someone to play with (none of my friends even knew how to use computers, yet alone play a freakin' game on one. Myself, I've been into computers since the Commodore 64 Anyway. Then got my (then) wife addicted so that I could play more often. Ahhh good times of MMO addiction. Yeah, I don't miss that. lol
