Most people just can't perceive what it means to take a corner pulling 4.5Gs laterally in a 1000 hp racing car that would stick to the track if it were upside down.
Its simply the pinnacle of racing and technology...what happens in an environment where no expense is spared and any possible competitive edge is taken.

That's cool but for years races were decided on pit stop strategies (zzz), I stopped watching ages back because it was so rare anyone in the top 3 went for a legit overtake.
