Don't Bother
my advice related to this is don't worry about it... Join a guild, get full banded armor and 2 hp / ac crafted rings. that and best wep you can afford will be enough for any melee type till close to 30.
sisters camp in lfay is the only good plat spot before halfling wall guards imo. Trying to collect bone chips and pelts just make you lvl slower, where once you get to lvl 30+ your ability to make pp will be much higher.
