Fine, you're suggesting that since no one needed an epic quest MQ (hint, they actually did), the book was first-come first-serve and lying about it to a joint raid was okay.

If no one wants the book (for epic or MQ), then no harm no foul.
Someone even said he /OOC'd asking before he took it.
