I think a blood moon, is an event where everyone around the globe is aware of a blood red sky, its happened like at least 2, maybe 3 times in clearly differnt evetns.

Maybe there is another i forget about, but I mean a deep solid blood red sky.
the california one even made the sky in parts of NY turn yellow at one point.
