That's the simple way to look at it, but try looking at it more holistically. If we have enough population for two healthy servers now, and we start a new server (which most players will switch to), is there
really going to be enough players to support both Blue and Green 1.0?
Green 2.0 will draw new players, sure, but not like 2k-3k ... and again, even if it did, they're all going to Green 2.0. We won't be getting a ton of new people to fill out the two old servers, and they will ultimately have to be merged (regardless of anyone's opinions) to have a viable/healthy population server.
