If people didn’t see politics as some sort of heavenly battle of good vs evil to fill the void of a lack of real threats like those our ancestors faced, maybe people wouldn’t give so much of a shit
I have close friends who are die hard progressive and we get along just fine
Guess I’m glad my gf is completely apolitical. I am jealous of how much less stress she must feel being completely oblivious to political news
