I don't think there's really such a thing as an alpha or sigma male in human society.
In the Military, the toughest dude in the platoon, who every other man feared but also respected, tended to be repulsive to women because they were usually large lumbering brutes with no social skills.
Meanwhile the scrawny pretty boy that the entire platoon hated and bullied was also the same guy who got all the bitches, which would suggest that they are the true alpha male since that entire hierarchy is based off of sexual reproduction and sexual success.
It just doesn't make sense in human society IMHO, especially when you compare modern society to primates, because you don't see situations where the biggest strongest dude is beating up all of the other men for trying to mate with women, and all these same women worshipping this man for bullying them and trying to cock block them from having a relationship with other men. It just doesn't make sense, and that's my honest opinion.
