It would be nice though if you could just kill the mob and loot the items they ate when a mistake happens. Atleast give people a chance to resolve it on their own.

It probably too challenging (dev work) to set it up to do this without having the mob drop items from additional successful turn ins and create a bunch of other issues in that regard though
This would have worked on live.

Given items don’t get added to loot inventory of NPCs unless charmed here (not classic).

Yes they would likely help but also essentially asked for people to not ask for help in these situations because it was a user error and the item is easily replaceable (albeit expensive)

Chances are you will have a Lodi Shield well before they would review any request you may submit
Yea they specifically say we won't help you with your botched MQ. I did purchase this in the tunnel as well because I'm not able to solo Lodizal. So it seems pretty clear the case is closed

But the shield doesn’t need mq… the shell is tradable?

Under whose direction were you handing the cash to the wrong guy? Did they claim to have handed the shell in to that npc too? Or did you hand both bits to the wrong guy?

If you’re doing all the hand ins then I don’t think that would be considered / covered by mq law. You may be able to make an appeal and get your shield / reimbursement in like 12 months?

I knew which one was the right one. I bound right in front of him so I could gate with the 10k gp (first time to cobalt scar and didn’t know it would be an easy run from the port in).

When I gated, I was facing the wrong otter even though when I bound myself I was facing the correct otter. Not a bug, just the way it works probably. I was so close that I couldn’t tell the difference. I was trying to rush the turn in because my porter was logging and it was the middle of the night.

My 59 enchanter then died 4 times trying to get the turn in back by killing the otter, until some told me I won’t get it back unless mob was charmed when I turned it in. Im at the end with that toon so don’t really mind losing xp. She has already been lvl 60 and I died some times in velks and deleveled.

Been tunnel questing trying to make it back
