People might have liked it better if they had used the Missouri. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I watched his movie and it made me like the guy a lot more.

Our generation thought that he was like some kind of mastermind that was trying to build a republic in the Middle East to take all the oil because we saw that in the movie, but it turns out he was really just an American who was deeply scared of the terrorist attack that happened on our soil on his watch.

Our generation mistakes incompetence for malice way too much.

Surprised my face didn't get eaten.

Just spent a week traveling through Uzbekistan. Was happily surprised. It was the GFs idea to go so she did all the planning and I just showed up with no expectations. A lot of cool Silk Road history. Very safe and easy to get around, and dirt cheap. Average hotel cost for a room right in the old town was about 30-40 a night, taxis about 2-5 bucks a ride, and so much good food.
