![]() For future reference, this can be resolved the same way its resolved on windows: just use eqplaynice. I launch it in my prefix before I launch the client. It does not like higher framerates, so I usually stick it at 60-75 foreground.

![]() Does the in-game FPS UI not work for you because your monitor FPS is higher than the EQ max (and therefore you need one of those two 3rd-party programs)?
I want to add this to the technical FAQ, but want to make sure I understand it first.

My monitor refresh rate is 100. I've tried limiting the MaxFPS setting in eqclient.ini but it always changes it back to 100. When I use the WinEQ2 tool I'm able to force that FPS to something lower, like 60. Now my horizontal and vertical mouselook are the same. | |||
