Re: what is a good city to start pottery?
I chose Thurgadin as the city to work on tradeskills because it seems that everything you need is in the bank. The Cha buffs given by others seems to really help out. The only thing I can think of that I had to leave Thurgadin to get for my pottery skill was pelts and skins. For those if you can gate and port go to the undead camp in South Karana and bind. There are a maximum of 10 undead that spawn there every few minutes and in North Karana near the druid rings there is another undead camp with not as many undead. I just ported back and forth killing them and used the zombie skins. Zombie skins are alot cheaper to buy as well. Also if you can port and it was the wrong time of day to use the pottery wheel (others constantly wanting to use it) I ported to Steamfront and used those wheel inside Ak'Anon. There is not a pottery merchant inside Ak'Anon but the wheel is always open, well it was for me.
