I can’t speak for p99 but I used to pick pocket insane gems in plane of growth raids back in the day. They would shout STOPTHIEF and all that crap, so I only did it when other rogues were in the raid, and our guild leader was convinced I was innocent because the text only happened when other rogues wre in the raids. He even PM me asking me to pickpocket more so I could get the gems before those other rogues, and then give them to him.

I would larp that I was trying really hard to pickpocket but with all these other rogues it was hard to do etc. and would give him a gem here and there but keep most for myself. By the time I realized how profitable the gems we I was already KOS I the plane of growth, but hypothesized that if I had not been KOS and had a cleric friend to Rez me I would have made bank by just pp’ing trash and getting rezzes when I died.

I think my ultimate goal other than free $$ was to get other rogues ostracized so I wouldn’t have to roll against them on gear but it’s been so long I honestly don’t remember
Apologies for bringing this up months after, but holy shit, this is the most rogue thing I’ve ever heard and funny as hell. Good job dude.
