Sirens is the Droga of Velious. Pointlessly difficult unless you are certain classes.

I think some druids farm sirens but even chanters I think they only touch 2 mobs in there, one being very difficult.

IIRC that nerf was post velious so I don't think this is ever happening on here.
Surprisingly in-era. OG devs took note of its emptiness and of the negative feedback received from players. Among other things, resists were reduced across the board. Even the entrance area by CS zoneline went from 3 mobs down to 1.

Makes sense because right now it is a difficult zone for a group with very little reward. Outside of felspine/shimmering I'm not aware there's anything good worth grouping for down there.

I remember on live back in the day going to Sirens at level 65 during GoD era with a group and getting whooped trying to explore the zone.

What an OP zone. How many people go up into the castle area? How many mobs in Sirens on p99 have never been killed by anyone? Does anyone do anything besides the beach / zonelines?

So many questions

Early into Velious there were occasional groups, even raids there, on blue at least. I remember pet pathing being horrendous and causing at least one full wipe. Fun though, just needed enough CC to avoid being overwhelmed.

The castle is cool. Shame it wasn’t balanced before release.

Would have been a great camp if there was a decent named in there.

The temple is a pain in the ass camp. If i can get a Boltransable icy servant, i can kill the entire camp + all the mermaids + all the seahorses in the immediate area.

If i can't get a pet, which they are kind of rare bc icy servant spawns level 53-56, literally the most efficient way to kill the elementals is to paci on my enc, /exit, and duo the icy w/ my monk + a shaman. If they are waterys, you can kill them with almost any pet, they are the weakest mob in SG.

So 90% of the fighting i do w/ my enc is above ground unless im fighting a water mob. And then ofc unless i cant get an icy pet, which then the best pet available is an allurable neriad maiden. Lol.
