Max on Statistics/Gear Pathing

Hi all,

I'm a 37 Druid, was wondering what the impact on stats is if I take my WIS past 200. I believe 250 is the maximum right?

Also, Should I be concentrating on Resist set of gear for planar/raiding? I have been following the "Pre Planar" section of the Druids guide for gear up to this point. Just not sure If I am going to correct route with gear.

I appreciate any insight that can be provided.
