A message to Nihilum

I no longer play the game, but I see there is still a load of bullshit drama going on.

This morning I wake up to find a couple email and PM's asking why I joined Red Dawn. I've played the game a total of 4 minutes since September, long enough to see a bunch of the biggest crybaby trollers on the server with Nihilum tags, and then logged off.

Of course at some point someone probably mentioned in ooc I was still playing, and secretly a red dawn member, so it's of course true. All of my board access was removed, even my ability to post in the general section.

To the Nihilum leadership, if you're so concerned about me having board access I'd probably recommend PMing supreme to remove my website access, because if I was planning on doing damage that would be more of a pain in the ass. Since I've always been a loyal Nihilum member, of course I wouldn't bother with that. However if you're being paranoid I'd recommend that first.

I would have just given all my chars to friends in the guild if you asked, or probably returned eventually. I appreciate the reminder of the drama that I'm missing though. Actually as far as I'm concerned if any of the danes or people I've played with for a while in nihilum want my chars they are welcome to them I suppose.

We never saw eye to eye on a lot of things and had a lot of fights over retarded shit. But I do respect your view on what happened to nihilum and couldn't agree more. The paranoia that led to your loss of access was basically how my membership was in nihilum for over a year. Every spell / forum leak / item leak was insta rage on me with zero proof or info. There is no trust, which isn't surprising when you consider there's multiple account strippers in the guild as well as RMTers. While some of my fondest moments on p99 were those mid 20's hoshkar kills, those days are long gone. A salute to you sir, and a spot is always welcome if you're looking to help play with a bunch of completely new faces to the server, many of whom are very nice people (aka not the same recycled trolls).

The suspicions over things like spells and other items was purely paranoia and not actually based on the things we saw you loot one night and sell on the boards the next day.

As far as Raze is concerned, removing forum access wasn't a big deal though I guess everyone likes to feel special sometimes. Its simple, if you don't play long enough you lose access to the forums. If you want to come back you know the process.

We both know that old members retain their forum access, until rumors start to fly. I'm sure it's just coincidence though that people send me email/pms asking if I joined red dawn, and I log in to check to see my forum access is removed. Also if it was done as a casual thing that happens to everyone why was I blocked from using even the public forum that anyone can use?

Of course I'm sure all old long time members that have dedicated themselves to the guild get blocked from using even the public forums.

There's a process for coming back? Oh joy! I hadn't realized. I could be part of Nihilum again? Pass.

I never saw eye-to-eye with Heartbrand, but frankly his guild holds more appeal for me than the guild I played with for 2 years.

Yes, that was an accident due to a new UI where the no loot warning dialogue was disabled, but I'm sure the more likely explanation is that after spending months and months in the guild with the opportunity to ninja loot VP gear and what not, I finally took the chance to pounce on a trakanon tooth.

Nihilum is just weird. Killing mobs as they pop at 4am when server pop was 20 max for loot they don't need?
