AoE party

I just got my enchanter to 50 and i was wondering if there was any wizzies or others who would like to try and lvl aoe style. Seems like the XP would be good and could be very fun. Please post if you're interested or shoot me a PM.

I find Chanter/Bard decent enough as well. Chanter Charms, Fears, Bard dots/snares.

Plus Bard can mez while Chanter re-charms.

I have a 42 cleric I'd do an AE group with... Just not sure what zone you had in mind... And wiping would be annoying without an epic cleric.

look for houndstooth or zaidos online. we were doing timoroous deep AE group at the aviaks / raptors for 8hours lastnite. it requires 49+ wizzies or a mage with 51+ pbae. its a pbAE group. At 51 i got 2% a pull and a 50 he was gettnig 4% a pull.

we did this for 8hours today

That's not all that useful - If you multiplied all of the D/M's by 30, they're still different by the same proportions.

It's whether or not the d/m is high enough to actually kill the mobs you're pulling without running out of mana...If it is, awesome [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I just remember barely finishing certain mobs when Skyfire AoEing was still working.

It can work well. Earlier spells are less efficient but lower mobs have a lot less hp relative to damage. Hp on mobs post 40 skyrocket exponentially. That's what makes that jump from 53-54 to 55+ so hard. Db mobs go from 2500 hp to like 5kish just in 1 lvl (around lvl 40?)

It's not so dramatic, but yeah it does jump fast. Disclaimer - this data was acquired from an EQSpawns.xlsx file I found on thesilversandbox in 2010. I have no idea if the person who gathered it used showeq or whatever to collect it, but it's been extremely accurate so far. Also, the data is somewhat skewed by the inclusion of guards/merchants, but still helpful.
