Hide Helm

Hello
I have been searching the internet to see if I can find an answer to my { hide helm }
issues. I click to hide my helm and it does but as soon as I zone or log off and back in the helm is showing again.
I see tons of other characters without their helms showing so it must just be me.
Any help would be appreciated.
