Default Logs

Hi,

I have a problem with logging game play text that just started. I like to log text to file to use audio triggers, but now I am not logging text anymore. I have the eqclient.ini set to log=true but it still wont log.

It probably is due to that fact that I bought a new desktop and basically copied my eq 1999 folder from my old laptop to my new desktop. I used the same pathing. Everthing works fine exept I cant log the text anymore.
Does anyone now how to fix that?

Or if I want to log text again do I have to do a fresh install?

If your install is in program files, try moving it somewhere else, such as C:\Sony\everquest

Thanks for the reply. Yes I tried the /log on command. I tried setting log=false for awhile then going back in later and setting it to log=true. No luck.

Thank you for that advice. Yes that worked!
I had it in program files. I moved the Sony folder to C: and now it works again.
I remember reading somewhere that installing the Sony folder to the C: drive as a stand alone folder instead of going through program files was a good idea. I never made that move because everything was fine. That is the solution. Thanks.
