Trading camps between friends.

I arrive at GEBS camp wanting to get some boots.

Bob is there camping it and I sit down to wait. I ask to join Bobs group but he says no, so I make it clear I am camping the spawn after him. After a while Carl, a guildmate of Bob arrives. Bob gets his GEBS drop and leaves. Carl tells me Bob gave him the spawn and that I don’t have the right to camp for my GEBS.

Is Carl in the right?

Whom ever is 'legally' camping a 'legal' camp. Can pass it to whom ever they want.

this is why the list system exists for legacy items, this is part of the general rules, but exceptions are being made for the items that rotate out.

Naw i'd feel dirty passing it over someone waiting at the camp too. Trust me when I say, if you're honest. you're one of the good ones.

You could be a little more tactful next time, rather than 'making it clear [your] taking the camp after him'. Which I'm kinda translating into you being mad that he said you couldn't join, so you told him off a bit.

This is why pvp server is 1000x better. Obviously permacamping a mob so easy is lame city. My skin is crawling just thinking about this situation.
