I find myself once again daydreaming about this game when I'm driving and while I'm at work. I have random dreams about the game. I experienced this back when I was 16 when the game first came out. I used to go out on a saturday morning with my first girlfriend at the time, go back to my house mid afternoon, level my High Elf Cleric for a few hours, then call her up to go out to a movie later in the night. She later told me she thought I really didn't like her or something haha. I just had the EQ addiction. I used to sit and delve into the pages of the strategy guides that were published for EQ back in the day. I'd just stare at pictures of the game and imagine that I was playing it. School became less about subjects and more about me drawing my characters, reading the strategy guide, and daydreaming about what I would do when I got home that day. No other game has ever captured my imagination like Everquest did.

I then got into parties and drugs and pretty much couldn't focus on video games anymore, but now I'm better and an adult and I love me some EQ again.

Thanks Project 1999 for bringing back my imagination in a world full of terrible MMO's that hand you everything in a basket from level 1.
