its been awhile and says "spells" are outdated and such...what do I do?

Just extract the version10 changes to your EQ file and you should be ready to go.

Or if thats too confusing for you, look in my signature.. use the installer and pick the option to update the spellfiles.

Tried it to no avail I'm afraid. I even updated the files manually like I used to and it stills shows me the out of date blank character when I get to character select.

Not sure what's going on as I haven't changed my EverQuest folder since I played on 99 last and just added the updated files like usual. Tried 2 different launchers now too.

make sure that you dont have the folder in Program Files.. move it out to C:\ if it is, then try again.

Still not working it seems. I'm still boggled as to why dragging, dropping and replacing isn't working either.

Did you move the game into c:\ ?

Do you have any firewalls running?

Do you have admin permissions to the PC?
