VPN use?

Sorry if not the right place but I can't seem to find where this question should go.
Q- Is it ok to use a VPN while playing P99? And more to the point, my wife and I have been playing (with an exemption) since to start of Green but, have recently bought a VPN for the added web protection. I have searched but can't find any mention about using a VPN throughout the forms.
