Old player thinking of going Red instead of Blue.
Hey folks, short version is I played eq long ago, found p99 last week and will be playing when I come home from offshore. Been deciding between red or blue. I work 7 / 7 and have a wife and a 4 month old now so my playtime is very limited. If I rolled blue i was going to do bard, if red I was thinking bard shaman or paladin. Any opinions? Would I have enough playtime to actually do things, or would I just be corpse running a lot?

if your playtime is limited, i would say go with the shaman for sure
paladin can't do much on their own

Shaman or even Druid maybe for ease of getting around without having to waste playtime sitting around looking for a port.

My top choice was the halfelf bard. Followed by either iksar shaman and high elf paladin. Back on live years ago bard was my main. I love selos... also how would a rogue work with sneak / hide, since likely needing to afk at times.

All classes suck when afk.

Can a rogue not hide well enough to be safe? To be fair i never played pvp on live, mostly due to being young and not being able to. Not sure how hide and sneak works in pvp. Granted bards get a combo of hide and invis

Rogue sneak/hide can be seen through with just a see invis which most people usually have up.

if ur first choice is bard, go bard
great choice for soloing/pve/pvp/low playtime all around powerful and sustainable
