Default 1hb and interrupting casting

This is just an old wives' tale, right?

1hb doesn't have any more chance than any other melee skill of interrupting a cast except through just knockback, right?

Right, right?

Correct, push interruptions were nerfed. Back in the before times, you could use monk dual epic fists to interrupt a CH almost 100% of the time.

No, the person wad adamant that it was due to simply being something 1hb weapons had a high chance to do because they were a 1hb weapon.

I'd never heard that before, but probably there's some kind of RP game out there somewhere where it's true, but I was like 99% sure it wasn't true on EverQuest.

It's logical that a blunt weapon would have more pushback than a lacerating or stabbing weapon.

But we live in a world with wizards.

Pretty sure their logic was "blunt damage is what a bash from a shield would be, ergo 1hb=can interrupt casts"

Here, you read this "spell" while you are distracted I'll stab you with this broken beer bottle.
Your spell is interrupted.
You are distracted by the weird shape of the gushing blood flowing from your chest. (Prolly coulda used that shield from above hey?)

also isn't there a low chance to stun on any attack, with a much higher chance on bashes?

i totally get stunned without seeing any bash hit me sometimes, and alot more often on TAKP
