Crashing to character select

The past couple of days I've been randomly DCing to character select. There's no lag warning, no increase in ping. Just a black screen saying that I've been disconnected, then the game loads to the character select screen. I can click a guy and come back just fine.

Anyone know what this might be and how to possibly fix it? I run EQ of a Mac Powerbook through wineskin.
