![]() since this forum seems to also be any topic, I just wanted to say, yesterday, July 3rd, was the 150th anniversary of the final day of the battle of Gettysburg in the American Civil War.
I've been on exciting raids (not on p99 -- not a singleperson has told me to plan on raiding here) during my eq life. Some of them still as if yesterday. I remember the first time, for example, the great coalition on Quellious -- Wraith and Reviviscence -- cleared ToV. I remember my first Avatar of War kill. I remember when I -- yes, me, Sadre the enchanter -- got the kill shot on Quarm. I play eq -- and on this server -- because it made you work hard to get those kinds of accomplishments. We all have our stories. But I was thinking about Gettysburg today. Tens of thousands of men charged, and died, 150 years ago on that battlefield. We can curse war, but war happens. And I wanted to just post a tribute to the fallen. There are no rezzes in real life. /salute
