so on p99, all the wolverine claws are primary only... I seem to remember super clearly burnai claws from kunark could be equipped in offhand as well, giving a super badass full on wolverine look!

I can't remember what it was called but there was an off hand claw in live, I use to rock them on my DE warrior whenever I ran through Qeynos.

claws were not meant to be interchangeable, they didn't "flip" when going to the offhand. You had main hand claws and offhand claws until the luclin BST weapon, which looked silly as heck pointing at the outside instead of inside.

Seen a few of these on the server, not sure if the blades are supposed to curve in or mimic the primary style claws. on live mine curved outward but that was well past pop..

I had a woodelf warrior, I was almost positive there was a shitty offhand claws, the burnai digger claws? I recall it being a terrible weapon, but looking frikken sweet!! Also, never experienced the wrong direction flip, but I only played until velious.

I'm almost certain you're right. I played a ranger on live and also remember having the wolverine look on him and the offhand was some crappy item that you would only equip for the look.
