Default When does Canni become more effcient then a Manastone (Hp/Mana ratio wise)

So Ive been messing around on a 33 Shaman with a Manastone, he only has Canni 1 right now. After watching hp/mana when using it, it looks like it takes 50hp and only gives 7mana, however on the wiki it says it is supposed to give 20mana. When using the Manastone it gives 20mana for 60hp.

Obviously at this point 60-20 is much more efficient then 50-7. Im assuming as you go up in level, your Canni starts to give more Mana, maybe? If thats the case, at what level / which canni spell, will become a more efficient hp/mana ratio, then the Manastone at 60/20?

Canni always more efficient. See my explanation in this thread for why canni looks so screwy:

Cannibalize I (LVL 24): consume 50 hp, gain 19-30 Mana (conversion ratio is 1.66 to 2.63 hp:mana)
Cannibalize II (LVL 38): consume 67 hp, gain 30-42 Mana (conversion ratio is 1.60 to 2.23 hp:mana)
Cannibalize III (LVL 54): consume 100 hp, gain 39-47 Mana (conversion ratio is 2.13 to 2.56 hp:mana)
Cannibalize IV (LVL 58): consume 148 hp, gain 81-82 Mana (conversion ratio is 1.80 to 1.83 hp:mana)

Here you go this will help you visualize and compare the differences between the Canni spells.

So which canni spell is the most efficient? That graph is confusing me.

Canni 2

That is what I thought looking at the graph, but what is the point of having "upgraded" canni spells if they are less efficient? I guess ill have to quest canni 2 for my sham.

Something I've been asking myself for a long, long time. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
