Disable polls on the forum?

Yep, people are abusing the polls on a daily basis. Forum tagging got taken away and was a great feature back in the day. Polls remain and are usually nothing but spam threads, particularly lately.

So, could this be the poll to end all polls?.... should we disable polls on the forums? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Polls are severely inconveniencing all of our lives.

Let's all start a campaign to fight poll abuse because scrolling those extra two inches past the poll part greatly increases the likelihood of us all getting tendinitis, among other cumulative trauma disorders.

No polls unless you exceed 500 post count.

make it 1000 if you want to make it really exclusive.

lets just make polls for who can make polls. once you're voted in as a 'poll-er' you can make all the polls you want. problem solved. i think.
