![]() Years ago I remember when you created a new character, a short paragraph would be given based on the race / class / diety you created as well as a character difficulty. I stumbled upon a link to this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5exD3WThbg At 0:34 you can see what I am talking about. I fondly remember once when I made a Dwarf it talked about the Ogres being the true enemies of the dwarves, and how I was to wage war against them even though they were on another continent. Another example was when I made a Human Cleric of Innoruuk it talked about the Dismal Rage and being outcasts and gave me a high difficulty rating. A lot of the lore was stuff from beta I believe. Does anyone know of a website where some of these starting briefs are? I think they'd be fun to read again.

![]() This is pretty awesome. I vaguely remember it.
Does the difficulty have to do with the negative experience factor?

![]() Difficulty rating ususally had to do with how KoS you were. It was pretty generic.
EQ beta lore is very distinctive for whatever reason, it's always pretty easy to tell what made it to live and what was a beta story line.

![]() All of these prompts can be found here, but they are formatted very poorly:
