Default Another enthusiatic new player

Finally gave this a try a couple of days ago - I should have come here ages ago. I'm remembering all the reasons I used to love this game. So far got a 5 shaman and a 8 bard, no idea which will be my eventual main, I love both!

I'm a UK player and it's nice to see the game so active at Euro times. Thanks for the effort and love you've put into this, and look forward to orc slaying with you all in game [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I also feel I should have come here a long time ago [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I found out about p99 at the same time as epicemu and couldn't decide for a long time where I should start. After talking to a dude at epicemu i finaly started there since he ranted p99 so very much.

Boxed up to about lvl 30 then the whole ddos attack thingy started and I started to see more clearly [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Started a toon on p99, never looked back and only regret I didn't do it sooner.

All in all - great fun, great players and some tards ofc. Thank's for the effort!

I think that most everyone on p99 now regrets not having known about it/started sooner! Fortunately the game is head and shoulders above anything else out there for us classic EQers regardless of when you get into it, and it is still getting better!

Glad to have you, I hope you enjoy the community here.

I tried Epic Emu too before the DDoS mess and refuse to even consider playing there again because of it.

I think Europa is fairly active if you end up looking for other people that play around European hours. I recommend asking around and finding a guild that fits what you're looking for before you decide on any specific one though, of course.

G'luck too and fair well in your travels in the wonders and dangers Norrath has to offer.
