- you have NOT listened to the albums Pet Sounds or Smile. (blind, ignorant Beatle nuthuggers dont respond) but the Beatles are more accomplished than the Beach Boys. if Brian Wilson never went crazy and lost his mind who knows what we coulda had. When Smile was being recorded the Beach Boys dismantled, who knows, maybe they could of put out more quality songs than the Beatles. Beach Boys were on the same evolution chart as the Beatles. Going from songs like "I wanna hold your hand" to "lucy in the sky with diamonds". Beach Boys did it first going from Surfin USA etc to Sloop John B etc.. Pet Sounds is as good or better than the White album, Sgt Pepper or any Beatles album. Some people cant fathom this idea and i love arguing it | ||

charlie manson wrote a song for the beach boys. "never learn not to love" they gave it a new name and changed a couple words and never gave manson writing credit
