Default Icewell Keep (thurgadinb) a few questions

This zone is now 99% complete.

There are a few questions I have which can be crowdsourced to save time:

Spawn times needed:
-Dain Frostreaver
-Royal Scribe Kaavin
-Seneschal Aldikar
-Grand Huntsman Darral
-Chamberlain Krystorf

How long did the prenerf 'Ornate Velium Pendant' drop before being replaced?

When were the npcs added for custom helm turn-ins?
-Royal Armorer Slade- Thurgadin
-Grand Armsmith Korin - Kael
-Supreme Laochsmith Psorin - Skyshrine

Aside from those, the zone is complete and looks good. Took quite a while to get the councilmen scripts working, time of day, etc.

Dain Frostreaver.. can't have both legs and a crown at the same time. I'm not sure what the issue is, but he can be bald, with legs, or legless, with a crown. I opted to give him legs until/if this is corrected.

Ahh, that explains why he was legless so often on live.

Anyone remember the correlation between the 'two dains'? One being nearly a push over and max hitting for 412/7, and the other being a freaking beast and hitting for 420?

Pretty sure Dain was a 7 day timer? Maybe 3 and a half but that could have been later after luclin. I think the "easy dain" quaded for 325 while the "hard one" was 425. Don't know if the HPs were different, though.

Seem to remember that the Dain (spawned?) for the ring war wasn't the "regular" one ...

I could be remembering wrong ...

Ok, I hail this guy, and these are his exact words..."Using my obviously superior skills I can customize a plate helm from the Shrine to suit a High Elf such as yourself. Give me your Blood Lord's Crown, Scaled Knight's Helm, Helm of Twilight, Akkirus' Crown of the Risen, Cowl of Mortality, Frostreaver's Velium Crown, Crown of the Kromzek Kings, or Crown of the Myrmidon and I shall make you a new helm that will better hise and protect your unscaled features.
Now does this mean that all I need to do is give him my scaled knight's helm, and he'll customize it, or will he need something more? I don'
t want to lose this helm, alot of hard work went into getting it. Oh, and for those whom do not know...I found out the hard way that you HAVE to have Ally faction to even get the quest gear...anything lower and they will not talk to you.

I went way far into SS today. All the way to the big one himself, everything along the way was Warmly. Just Yellinak himself was KOS. Also anyone know where the guys are that give out the armor quests? I must have missed them along the way.

The armor guys are the 14 Fe'Dhar in the same room as the Supreme Commander. At warmly they will not talk to me (other than to tell me to get lost), guess you need ally level faction. I also saw the same thing you did, everything in Skyshrine was warmly except Yelinak himself, who was ready to attack...almost got too close because everything was warmly. I did not go inside the gated area were he is so I don't know if there are any other NPC's there on his faction.

As for raising Yelinak faction, doing both the giant helm and mercenary orders guest with Sentry Kcor give Yelinak faction gains. I've only done about 7 or 8 of these quests, so I guess I'll be doing alot more before I can greet the big guy without biting it.

Ack...it's not Supreme Commander, but Supreme Laochsmith Psorin. Sorry for the misinformation.

And each of the 14 Fe'Dhar (while warmly to me) say "I have nothing to speak about to the likes of you." Friendly chaps...

Dain 7 day respawn.

Easy Dain quaded (Flurry? can't remember) for 350.

Hard Dain quaded (Flurry? can't remember) for 425.

Didn't ever seem to be any difference in Hit Points between the two.

I think in determining which version, it was just random. I can recall waiting for him to spawn and then testing with Feign Death. It would be either 425 or 350.

I don't recall spawn times on the other NPC's never really killed them.

I remember this as well on live. We would test with a monk to see which version it was before initial engage.

"Dain Frostreaver IV, level 70, 1-3 day spawn, 7 day respawn, Icewall Keep " Found this on Steelwarriors forums for mob respawn table.

http://www.thesteelwarrior.org/forum...hread.php?t=21

"Spawn Time: 3 Days
Approximate HP: 375k to 400k
Approximate Damage Per Attack: Quad hit for up to 425
Special Abilities: Banishment to the well & Rampage "

"There are TWO versions of Dain.

Version 1: quads for 350
Version 2: quads for 425 "
