![]() 'ey guys. What do you think of Tailoring (or any other profession) for an Ikky Monk? I've recenly started to level it for the purpose of making handmade backpacks, and to prepare for Velious, but I am a Monk of meager means. Could I one day use tailoring as a way to make some bit of money? Are other tradeskills better? Are they all just a moneysink, and I should avoid them as a Monk?
To be clear, I'm 35, and no longer have use for cured silk, but I am high enough to make backpacks, and with all the new players, maybe there's a market for cured silk. I dunno, I just really like crafting, but the classic recipes are so anemic, and I want to put my plat to good use.

![]() I'm not sure if it is worth it now or not, I don't do tailoring really. But I'm sure you can always make cash with backpacks (i'd assume). However, with Velious coming out soonish (maybe), it might be worth it.
Not sure if all of these recipes come out right away, but some seem pretty cool: http://www.lokari.net/everquest/velious.html I'm especially partial to the reinforced black panther skin armor.
