Default Monk starting stats

Hey everybody - I'm about to create a monk and was wondering where I should dump my starting stats. I was thinking all into STA but I've heard some say I should mix it between STA and STR. What are your guys' thoughts?

It's easier to improve STR than STA, and STA=HP.
I might even consider AGI before STR.

But even putting all your points in STR isn't game-breaking.

For now it'll be a lot easier to cap STR then STA. Eventually it won't matter (velious gear will make capping all important stats much easier).

To give you an idea heres a monk set that is fairly affordable:
http://wiki.project1999.com/Wolf-hide_Sleeves 50p 2str
http://wiki.project1999.com/Hooded_Black_Cloak 3.5k 5str
http://wiki.project1999.com/Diamondine_Earring x2 1k each 3str each
http://wiki.project1999.com/Sarnak-Hide_Mask 200p 5str
http://wiki.project1999.com/Crescent_Slippers (free, no drop) 2str
http://wiki.project1999.com/Platinum_Fire_Wedding_Ring x2 250pp each
http://wiki.project1999.com/Griffon_Talon_Gloves 50p 2str
http://wiki.project1999.com/Executioners_Hood 500p, 4str
http://wiki.project1999.com/Crescent_Pants 5str (free) OR
http://wiki.project1999.com/Sarnak-hide_Leggings 3.5kp 3str 3sta
http://wiki.project1999.com/Runed_Lava_Pendant 3.5k 6str
http://wiki.project1999.com/Burynai_Hide_Shoulder_Pads 50p 2str
http://wiki.project1999.com/Meditative_Blanket free 2str
http://wiki.project1999.com/Flowing_Black_Silk_Sash 11k
http://wiki.project1999.com/Granite_Bracer x2 3.5k each 4str 7sta each
http://wiki.project1999.com/Syythrak_Hide_Vest 3k 5str 5sta OR
http://wiki.project1999.com/Crescent_Gi (free) 7str

+44-51 str depending on if you go for the no drops and +14-22 sta for approx 35k without going into the planes. There aren't may weapons which give str that you'd actual use a monk at this point so I'm not including them.

Side note, this would weigh 11.5 stones at most and could be cut down by a few stones easily by dropping some of those 50p 2str items and just using cured silk.

I don't care what anybody says. You can weigh 80 stone at level 20 and it does not make a damn. AC is broken below level 40. Get what you can get. Above level 45ish Weight DOES matter. You picked a great class IF you can pull and know all the zones.

This game is NOT easy mode. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] But welcome aboard. You will enjoy it.

Thanks for the welcome [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I have played off and on since 2012 and I'm having a blast. I had a monk on live back in the day but I only ever got to lvl 30 or so with him and I honestly don't remember much about what stats to look for in gear in terms of opting for one piece over another. You guys on the forums here are always a great source of info and I appreciate it very much.
